Northern California is unlike anywhere else I have ever fished and it was the first time in a long time where I felt totally out of my element trout fishing.

The older I get, the more joy I get out of fishing new water. At 789 light years of age, new water still makes me feel like a kid again.

Why was I in the middle of nowhere getting flat tires and daydreaming about a bizzaro Southwestern sequel to “The Grey”? Good question.
